Overview
The Ophthalmology Grand Rounds on BASCOMPALMERLEARN.ORG series covers diagnostic approaches, current management modalities, and prevention strategies for a variety of ophthalmic disorders including diseases related to the following subspecialties: retina and vitreous diseases; corneal and external diseases; glaucoma; ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery; neuro-ophthalmology; pediatric ophthalmology; and uveitis. Ophthalmology residents and fellows present interesting clinical cases. Case presentations videos are followed by a quiz.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Effectively diagnose and manage patients with various ophthalmic problems incorporating new modalities
  2. Access appropriate resources for research information, incorporate research into clinical care decisions, and accurately diagnose, manage and follow-up patients with ophthalmic conditions
  3. Accurately diagnose and treat patients with rare ophthalmic conditions
  4. Appropriately manage and follow-up patients with a variety of ophthalmic problems based on clinical guidelines
