Overview
The Department of Medicine Grand Rounds consists of educational activities which serve to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills and professional performance or our faculty, fellows, residents, students, and other learners and practitioners. Our goal is to provide weekly sessions where the previously mentioned objectives are met.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. DIAGNOSE COMMONLY SEEN CHRONIC AND COMPLEX MEDICAL CONDITIONS.
  2. MANAGE THE TREATMENT OF CHRONIC AND COMPLEX MEDICAL CONDITIONS.
  3. INCORPORATE CURRENT EVIDENCE-BASED GUIDELINES INTO DAILY PRACTICE.
  4. ANALYZE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMMUNICATION, PROFESSIONALISM, AND HUMANISM IN PATIENT CARE.
  5. IDENTIFY THE IMPORTANCE OF CLINICAL EMPATHY IN CARING AND PHYSICIAN TRUSTWORTHINESS.
  6. PROVIDE INSIGHT TO CURRENT RESEARCH TO BETTER PATIENT CARE.
