Overview
Designed to afford real-time updates on policy, regulations & workflows -Build greater communication and collaboration across the various units of the HRPP -Consider best practices & practical tips.

Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Submit protocols that appropriately address all regulatory requirements for approval.
  2. Identify common factors requiring additional attention during protocol development, to include but not limited to identification of vulnerable populations and specific consenting requirements as well as local context.
  3. Increase working knowledge of appropriate submittal in eprost approval loop so as to ensure an efficient workflow by including all necessary materials for any applicable ancillary committees.
  4. Assess available resources.
  5. Develop checklists to help drive the development and submittal of the study from until IRB approval.
  6. Compare potential funding costs to turn around time of protocol development and submittal.
  7. Identify ways to effectively minimize, mitigate or eliminate instances of non-compliance by adhering to study protocol, regulatory and institutional policies as well as responsible conduct of research.
