Overview
The Cathy and Fred Seligman Psychiatry Grand Rounds Series provides educational presentations consisting of medical problems, treatments, and scientific research to an audience consisting of doctors, psychologists, therapists, residents, and medical students. The content of our lectures relates to the care psychiatrists/psychologists provide patients suffering with mood disorders. This CME activity will provide current clinical knowledge, improve performance and outcomes.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Examine the latest clinical research findings for the treatment of mood disorders.
  2. Evaluate how genetics, the environment, and stressors contribute to mood disorders.
  3. Identify new research findings in routine psychiatric clinical care.
  4. Describe a differential diagnosis of common psychiatric syndromes.
  5. Use state-of-the-art diagnostic tests to assist in the diagnosis of common psychiatric syndromes.

APA Objectives
